Monomad Challenge: " Calangahan Coastal Areas, A Place of My Childhood Memories" Black And White Photography

It's great day to explore at the beach again specially now-a-days when intense heat still happens here. Summer season is not yet ended and an intense heat comes from the sun always happens that is why beach travel and adventure is very perfect for this kind of weather. For today's #monomad black and white challenge, It is all about my great day exploring at the beach located here in Barangay Calangahan Lugait , in the Province of Misamis Oriental Mindanao Philippines. This place here also holds my great childhood memories along with my cousins when I was 7 years old. As I visit the place again, I still saw this very old tall coconut trees still standing at the coastal areas. Back when I was a little girl, we always sit in here having a great and funny conversation together with my cousins while eating our snacks. Even if many years has already passing by, still this tree was standing producing lots of fruits and dried palms.

📸 A Dog Walking at the Beach:

Everyday, there are lots of dogs always passing by here and some of them are hunts fish and shrimps at the rock pools. This very alerting dog was running very fast because this animals was very frightened of me. Sometimes other dogs are taking a bath and swim in the salt sea water and takes long time waiting near at the rock pools to hunt fish and shrimps.

📸 A Few Trash Brought By Big Waves:

Every high tide or any situations where big and rough waves happens, few trash are landed at the coastal areas just like this small wheel and bottles. Sometimes we used to gathered few trash that can be still recycled just big plastic bottles, tires and slippers backed when I was a kid along with my Grandma everytime when we visited here. I can't imagine how low of travel and flowing including floating this piece of trash before it landed here. But despite of that situations, there are people who are willingly and voluntarily clean the coastal areas. Making Garbage segregation and recycling other kinds of materials. It is not new and normal to have trash here every high tide or any time that there is rough and big waves happens. But the cleaning activities is always waiting helping the environment to be cleaned always.

📸 Tons of Fine Sands and Rocks at The Coast:

Not all of the place contains fine sands, it is balance by Nature. All of the place contains big rocks, corals and fine sands. Sand holes made by crabs can also be seen and peebles in different kinds of shapes, sizes and colors can also be seen and found. This is the reason why many people loves to visit and explore here specially when the sun will setting down. Most of the corals are already covered with sea weeds and a good place for a habitat to all marine animals like Crabs, Fish, Shrimps and even sea shells.

A Great day of exploration that will make us relaxing and have a good and peaceful way of life.
