Greetings hive travelers around the World, another great and wonderful day traveling and for me, simple travel makes me happy and enjoyable. Here in Barangay Punta Silum there is a part of the place particularly beach resort that has been totally abandoned many years already. But even if the place is now abandoned, still there are lots of people, tourists and beach goers loves to visit here making camps and picnics together with their friends and families. For many years has already past, the once open and clean sites is now covered with wild grass and few small trees and bushes grows. This place is located in Zone 6 Barangay Punta Silum Manticao, Misamis Oriental Mindanao Philippines. It is not really far from National road and it only takes few minutes before reaching the site.

This Abandoned site is located below and it needs to walk using old concrete stairs before reaching the areas. This overlooking views of the abandoned beach is located at the cliff near at the National road. From here, we can see seascapes, landscapes, few coconut trees and few abandoned structures of the beach resort. Those Single road trail leads to the seashore and most of the fishermen always went here for their boats placed at the dry land. This is only small spaces for the resort that time but it fit lots of structures built near at the shore.

This are the only structures left here in the abandoned place and some of it are already destroyed and covered with grass. This are the Comfort room, Reception hall and a big waitingshed structures but now only small parts of structural foundations left. The entire place is covered with wild grass and few tall coconut trees. Aside of that it is surrounded with tall trees like Talisay and a tall hill sloped where old concrete stairs built.

This big trees was once a part of the landscape here at the abandoned beach resort, but as many years has passing by the landscape was already destroyed and the once small tree completely grown bigger and taller. But it brings a relaxing and cool views because of its shades brought by big branches. This tree is leaning towards the sea because of the strong winds always happens here and few wild animals like birds can also be seen and found here.

This are the Main gate going to the sea and it is made of solid concrete supported with big rocks and corals piled very perfectly before pouring with concrete. It keeps the structure cannot easily destroyed by sea water everytime when it hit here. This is also served as the sea walls of the abandoned resort so the soil wont be collapse very easily. There was big metal bars installed here but it was completely rusty and broke.

This big, plain and wide solid rock is also part of the abandoned resort and it is used as a diving board for those who visits here enjoying the coolness and freshness of the sea water. This big rocks is filled with sea shells and crabs hiding at the rock holes. Every high tide, this big rocks here will submerged at the sea water and it is completely very deep.

In terms of fishing activities, this place here is also very perfect in fact there are lots of small fishing boats floating in here. This place is also near at the fish sanctuary areas that is why there are lots of fish here and a perfect site for fishing.

Some of the small boats are already near at the shore and it is ready to set sail to the sea when it turns to high tide. It is easy to placed in the water, even if it was a beach resort there are some place where fishing areas located and some of the boats are put as part of tourists spots because tourists rides on some small boats.

Until next post, have a nice and safe travel to everyone.
