Dressmaking Is The Best Hobby In Life; How Did I Learned It?

Dressmaking is one of the most tricky kind of womens activities and it requires more skills and knows about the parts of the sewing machine and how it will use. Back when I was in Highschool, My Grandma teach me how to sew simple things or as we say basic sewing activities. But that moment I felt very nervous on handling and using sewing machine even if it is Manual. Aside of that, during my Highschool days we have a short time of sewing lessons and I got lots of ideas how to sew very well. But using manual sewing machine is very easy rather than automatic or those machine depends on the electricity.

This time, my Mother gladly have electric sewing machine and she also teach me on how to do timing of sewing clothes. This is one of thw problem I always faced everytime when I sewed clothes. It is quitely different from manual sewing machine and I hope I can manage it very well.

I also have lots of needles and we called it needle booklet. I brought this for 50 Pesos that is equivalent to 1 HBD tokens throught this I can be abled to used different kinds of needles depends on the clothes I want to sew. There is also a small needle guider so I can easily put in the thread on needle's hole. There are long and short needles placed and some round head needles use to mark the edges of the clothes specially when it measures.

This part of the sewing machine is what we called the Adjustment wheel and it helps to adjust the thread runner to sewed very fast or slow. Having this kind of thing is quite different from the Manual and I have not encountered this thing before. Gladly my Mother teach me how to use it and gladly I've learned it slowly but surely. The number of the wheel is used depends on what kind of clothes does it sewed to have a good output.

This is the thread runner where clothes that sewed will placed. This foot like shape will pressed when it sews and those small sharp thing under helps the clothes move forward while sewing. This electric Sewing machine don't need to used force to sewed. There is a pressed pad under and it must be stepped it very gently so that the thread will perfectly align. Sewing machine must be cleaned every once a week or two times is much better. Adding used oil or lubricant helps the machine to performed very well and have a good output. Rust will not stick to the metal very easily if we applied it with used oil. Removing of dusts using small paint brush helps it to have clean sewing machine and that is very important if we owned this kind of thing.

Different colors of threads are very important specially when we sewed different kinds of clothe's colors. The thread must be combined with the color of the clothes before sewing. Most of my clothes here are white, gray, green and red so I decided to brought different colors of the thread.

This pin cusion helps me to put those used needles in one place. I've made it last year out of foam amd clothes. The needle I've used will pinch here so I can easily seen where it place. Sewing is one of the best hobbies in life, in fact there some dressmakers who already put business and sewing clothes.
