Behind Of Hard Works and Dedication, There Is A Success Waiting to Achieved

My Mother is a tenant in one of the wide coconut land here in the Province and the landowner told us to do coconut harvesting and produced copra. I already posted my Farm activities here particularly drying those coconuts, husking, removing coconut meat and bonding with family by eating outside and served as family picnic. That was truly an enjoyable and tiring moment I experienced in my life, it takes almost two weeks of doing the work and it needs to be done while the rainy season is not yet occured. Drying coconuts is not really easy, it takes a lot of time of waiting before it will completely dried, in fact we decided to built a simple copra drier structure because we noticed that the weather was continuesly changes.

Copra producing or making is a true challenges in life, working under the heat of the sun. Husking imperfectly will lead to a serious problems like expecting to have wounds or scratch, these are some of the problems and challenges we always facing everytime when we produced this kind of product. Aside for that, cooking outside since we don't have a proper kitchen at the farm, my Grandma's cooking area was completely destroyed and it needs renovations. Luckily everytime when we cook outside, there is no rain happens. Even when the evening came, still we cooked outside and the only thing we used in order for us to see the things we want is the flashlights. For me, it was like a simple camping trip in evening, a picnic during morning.

After all coconut meat all dried, its time to packed it in a big empty sacks. This is also the main problem, lifting with this big sacks filled with copra needs to be done even if it is very heavy to lift. Each sacks contains lots of copra reaches 60 Kilos gladly my Brother is willing to carried it one-by-one to the place where vehicles like jeepneys can park. This is the last common problem and challenge we faced everytime when we sell copra.

Transporting also takes time because the corporation where we want to sell copra is quietly far from our place. Traveling almost takes an hour depends on the traffic and high inflation of travel fair is slightly burdened on us. Each sack cost 100 pesos to pay at the jeepney driver not includes for our travel fair. As we arrived at the place, well taking pictures inside of the place is prohibited but I can tell you what was exactly happened that time. We wait for almost 3 hours, and after that we finally called my Mother's name and claimed the money costs from the copra we sold.

Just as we expected, there are percentages takes about the moisture, dust, goma from the copra. Producing copra is not takes perfectly but despite of that, we only got small percentage and small deductions to the cost we have. We earned 25, 139 Pesos and I felt very surprised about it. 1,476 pieces of coconuts costs in that kind of big amounts of money. After that, since my Mother is only a tenant and landowner told us to list the expense before dividing it into three. Listing all expenses needs to write and must be not forgotten even single one of it so everyone will be payed on their hard works.

A Real Math:

We carefully computed the expenses and listed so we have papers to show to the landowner. After set aside all the expenses, we also computed the amount of money shared from ours.

The total expenses will be deducted to the 25,135 Pesos and the total is will also divided into three and the total will be our earnings as a tenant.

Copra producing is very hard and challenging but we gain more success and earned a lot.
