A Time Visiting my Alma Mater in Kalangahan Elementary School in Lugait, Misamis Oriental

Today's travel blog of mine is very special because it is all about my Alma Mater here in Barangay Calangahan Lugait, Misamis Oriental. Lots of wonderful childhood memories of mine are marked to my heart and my mind that cannot be easily forgotten and erase. I've been study here 6 years and its been many years has already past since I did not visited my Old School. This is Kalangahan Elementary School located at Barangay Kalangahan Lugait, Misamis Oriental. The only Elementary School built many years already. This School primeses or campus is quitely far from the Main road that is why it is very safe for the children. The only road attached or connected in this School is only a Barangay road. Only few vehicles passing by and most of it are motorcycles only. From our House it needs to travel a few minutes before reaching the School campus. This wide concrete wall is design with the name of the school so it can easily locates or identified. Decorated with shinny blue tiles and bricks and few lights surrounded with ornamental plants and few landscapes.

This is the main gate of the School campus, the time when I visited here are already changes a lot. Buildings are already renovated and new school buildings are now built and ready to use. Backed when I was a child this place here was once a food stool areas where few snack vendors sell different kinds of snacks. But now it was completely cleaned and turned into a waiting areas where lots of long wooden chair placed. Those Parents who waits for their children are seating here and even if there is no rooftop, still the area is very cool and relaxing because of the shade brought by big trees.

This is a small park built near at the Principal's Office and it is still here until today. But the structure was slightly changed and renovated just like concrete walls and few landscapes. Few staircase are also built and lots of palm trees are planted. The walls are covered and painted with different kinds of paint colors it can make the structure more attractive because of its colorful views. Inside of this small park is the unique waiting shed and it is built with light materials just like lumbers.

This is the School Garden and since our old School contains only small spaces of the areas, the garden were decided to put at the front of the classrooms and to keep the vegetables safe from children, they also constructed this simple fence made of lumbers and bamboo frames. A long solid concrete also used to attached those light materials and painted with different kinds of colors.

This is the School ground and the place is filled with lots of rocks so it wont be muddy or dusty. Also a tall flag pole and few classrooms built near at the School ground. This ground is also surrounded with lots of palm trees and few big and tall trees. This School we have here contains almost thousand of children and compost with 18 Small classrooms.

Now the School is continuing renovated and a new two storey building has already built. Backed when I was a student here, this site here was our small garden also but now the place is already developed into a classrooms. This is the new school building built here and it is also used.

This is one of the corridor here in School. We always went in here because it is near at the Faculty room. Each side of the classrooms are unique and long landscapes where different kinds of ornamental plants placed.

This is our Small gymnasium and every School programs are always held here. This School gymnasium really fit for lots of student. Visiting the place makes me happy and enjoyed and aside of that, a great childhood memories are always marked here.
