A Glimpsed of Biga-Calangahan Border Coast, Perfect Summer Getaway

Since when I was A little girl, I always wanted to visit beaches and any coastal place near in our house. It keeps me feel more relaxing and comfortable seeing seascapes and different kinds of rock's shapes and forms. Today, as part of my travel blog, allow me to share a glimpse of the place where I went this morning. Gladly my Mother told me to come with here and I delighted to accepted her invitation. Our residential area is near at the coast that is why most of the views here are more on beaches and shores. Its beens quite long days when I visited here again and same as the previous visitation here, there was still no change.

Every summer season, there are lots of people went here since this place is already known to others. Even the coast contains lots of rocks and corals, still the beach goers always have a good time spending day here.

For those who loves to visit here, this place is located at Calangahan-Biga boarder coast. From Barangay Poblacion, it needs to travel almost half an hour and it is quite far from the National road. But it is accessible by Barangay road where few light vehicles like Cars, motorcycles and tricycles can be passing by. Here in this place, a wide and rough rock walls built to helps the dry place avoiding to collapse because of the big and rough waves. Because of this long rock walls, house built at the top of this structures are safe. It built very perfectly and it is compost with big rocks and corals piled together before putting a cement that served as a structural foundation.

This structure was built many years ago already in fact sea weeds and moss are already grows and covered half of the structure.

But walls are not the only structures that is now covered with moss, this wide and flat rocks here are also covered with seaweeds and moss. This parts of the place here is always reached by sea water when high tide happens. Crabs, shrimps and seashells can also be found here and aside of that few rock pools also shows at the surface every low tide.

Only few big rocks can be seen here and the size is just like a nipa hut house. The surface of the rocks are filled with sea shells and rock holes where crabs always hid every low tide and comes out when high tide came. This big rocks here will submerged at the sea water every high tide and it is a kind of very big rocks. We can totally imagine how deep the sea will be of this big and tall rocks still submerged at the sea water.

Fine sands and peebles are also found in here in fact most of the peebles here are broken corals because of the strong impact of the sea waves. This fine sands here is very tempting to all children to play sand castles and do sand bathe.

This big house is perfectly built near at the shore and the house owner is very lucky to built here because they can really sees the paradisiacal and overlooking views of the sea. Few coconut plants are also grows here where it helps to give shade and cool sites. This is one of the reason why there are lots of people went here, they can spend and enjoy the view outside without getting exposed to the Sun because of the shades brought by coconut trees.

Small wooden boats can addends the beauty at the shore. It also used as tourists boat where few visitors ride in a small boats floated to the sea. Small boats placed here are built very unique because of its designs and colors, it is also very useful to all fishermen so they can catch lots of fish at the sea. Visiting here is truly enjoyable and we felt peaceful and calm, a summer getaway that fits to everyone.
