A Glimpsed At The Coastal Areas In Barangay Calangahan Lugait, Misamis Oriental

It was my wonderful day I'd experienced because I decided to went to the coastal areas to watch the perfect Sunset. Luckily the Coast is not totally very far from our House and it only needs to walk a few meters away and takes only a few minutes. Watching sunset helps me to keep myself relaxing and peaceful and aside of that, I can also imagined the connection of life and the Sunset. It was already 4 in the afternoon when I started to walked down from the shore. The weather was very calm and good and a perfect sunset can also be seen very clearly.

Its been a long time since I did not visited the coast again due to a busy situation and this time I have lots of vacant time that is why I can do Coastal Traveling. After charging my cellphone, I hurriedly wore my sling bag and a few biscuits so I can have snacks while walking down to the Shoreline.

As I arrived at the place, I already felt relaxness and peaceful and the first Area I've went was this broke concrete structure. Since when I was a little girl, there was once a big concrete structure where big Generators placed. As I'd seen the place, I was very shocked to see that the structures was totally destroyed by Big waves leaving this big chunks of concretes. As the climate changes, the sea rises and submerged those places near at the coast. Every high tide, this place here will submerged to the sea water and tons of peebles and sands deposited here.

At middle of my Coastal travel adventure, I also noticed that some of the coconut trees are fall down to the coast and some of it are already rotten. It indicates that the sea water continued to rise submerged those dry places near at the sea water. This daily post of mine is also served as a travel adventure and to let exploring some parts of the areas. This big and tall piece of coconut is very important to all residents here because they can use it as a firewoods for everyday use.

Despite of that kind of situation, there are also lots of coconut trees still standing until now, producing lots of fruits. But as I observed, those trees are leaning towards the sea because of the previous strong winds happens here. There are lots of dry branches and lots of people went here just to collect lots of firewoods. Wild grass and a small garden can also be seen here, I was really having lot of fun time exploring and visiting the place and for me, it is truly a paradisiacal.

Looking for any exotic sea shells is also perfect here because of lots of stones and corals. This big chunks of stones and corals will submerged to the sea water but is also creates lots of rock pools and lots of exotic sea shells can be seen and found every low tide. Few Manggrove trees also grows at the place and the residents don't want to cut those plants because it gives a great contributions to the environment.

There is also some parts of the place contains this tons of fine sands. Peebles and corals are scattered everywhere and lots of crabs crawls to the ground. Peeblea and broken corals are also at the place and well deposited because of the strong winds and water current.

In terms of fishing activities, this areas here are perfectly for fishing because of different kinds of fish can catched here. Every 6 in the afternoon, lots of small boats floating and casting their fishing nets. At the coast, I was felt very happy to see the perfect place abd a great views.
