Spending few hours at the coast makes us more relaxing and feel more comfortable specially when we sees lots of wonderful views. I lived near at the coastal areas here in Barangay Punta Silum in the Municipality of Manticao, the Province of Misamis Oriental. Because of that, the proud place I can really share are some parts of the coastal areas here. I really like to go in this place specially during early in the morning, having a short walk at the sandy and rocky coast and enjoying the fresh air and cool breeze. Since when I was a little girl, I already love to go here and this place contains a great childhood memories about me.

The reason why there are few small unique boats placed is that most of the fishermen always casting their fishing nets here every high tide.

This place also hid a great gems just like wonderful views and very best fishing spots. Even if most of the place contains lots of big rocks and corals, it still gives a wonderful and attractive one because of its shapes, sizes and colors. Every Month of June, this place here is completely submerged by sea water and this big rocks and corals also disappear from the surface. Most of the houses are built near at the coast supported with wide and solid concrete so it wont easily collapse everytime when there is a strong waves.

This is a kind of Man-made concrete walls build here at the coast. It helps the soil to avoid collapsing
and eroded, aside of that houses that built here can also avoided of damage everytime when there is a strong winds. The most amazing of this walls aside of the unique designs is that it is already built almost a hundred years old. That my grandma told me, it is made of solid concrete with lots of big rocks filling perfectly before applying the concrete so it helps the foundation of not been damage.

This are some of the biggest corals here at the shore, some of it are already submerged at the sea and served as a habitat to all small salt water animals like shrimps, fish and crabs. There are also few fine stands here, the corals are almost covered with seaweeds grows that is why it should be more careful by steeping at stones because of its the sharp edges. Every lowtide, most the people who visited here decided to placed their tents at the sandy coast enjoyed watching the sunset.

Some of the cliffs here are covered with lots of wild grass and tall trees. It helps this not only for eroding situations, but also having a wonderful views. Sometimes, there are few professional photographers went here and searching for a best views before taking a picture. Also, a photoshoot has been also done here specially every afternoon when the sunset happens.

This different kinds of colors of the peebles makes the shore even more beautiful and attractive. Lots of broken corals also scattered here and there are tons of peebles can be seen and found. If we visited here we can walked in barefoot because it only contains peebles and fine sands but in some parts of the coast where big rocks and sharp corals can be found needs to wear sandals or beach slippers. Peebles are very clean and shinny, in fact during my childhood days, I always went here just to get few peebles for our landscape here at the lawn.

This wide, biggest and old trees helps the shore to have a shady and cool areas. This tree is what we called, Talisay and it already grows many years. It contains wide branches, big leaves and big tree trunk, where few wild animals like birds also lives in here. The reason why this is perfect for summer outing or gathering place is that we can feel relaxing and peaceful.
