Visiting Pifo Park [ESP/ENG]

Today I would like to introduce you to a park that I met in the outskirts of Quito, I had to deliver a keyboard to a client and he told me to go there.

So I ended up in Parque De Pifo, many people know it so I don't know if it has a proper name :b but it is quite big and you can see it from far away.

Hoy quisiera presentarles un parque que conocí se encuentra en las afueras de Quito tenia que ira entregar un teclado a un cliente y me dijo que vaya para allá.

Fue así que termine en el Parque De Pifo, mucha gente le conoce así no se si tenga un nombre propio :b pero es bastante grande lo cual se puede apreciar desde lo lejos

I had no one I knew to ask about the decorations in the park, but it is striking, the dress of the man with the bulls is classic of the montubias or indigenous people, a population that is very common in these areas.

No tenia a nadie conocido a quien preguntar a que se debe las decoraciones que trae el parque pero es llamativo, la vestimenta del hombre con los toros es clásica de las personas montubias o indígenas, población que es muy habitual por estas zonas.

It does not have a single entrance as it has several blocks of the park and has no limits, there is no single gate so it is very comfortable to walk :b

No tiene una entrada única al tener varias cuadras del parque y no tener limites, no existe puerta única por lo cual es muy cómodo para pasear :b

As far as I knew and you can see at a glance on the sides of the square of the park are the main streets of the sector which are full of businesses, there is such a variety of local and even on the sidewalks you can see informal vendors of all kinds of merchandise offering to those who pass through the streets ^^

Por lo que conocí y se ve a simple vista a los lados del cuadrado del parque están las calles principales del sector las cuales están llenas de negocios, hay tanta variedad de locales e incluso en las aceras se puede ver vendedores informales de todo tipo de mercancía ofreciendo a quienes pasan por las calles ^^

I found several monuments had no legend indicating why they are there, but they are well protected with fences that are part of the decoration itself, with signs not to destroy the monuments.

Encontré varios monumentos no tenían ninguna leyenda que indique el motivo por el cual esta allí, pero están bien protegidos con cercos que son parte de la decoración mismo, con letreros de no destruir los monumentos.

I was struck by the amount of trees that the park has, I imagine that they are native trees of the sector that would be very outstanding.

Me llamo la atención la cantidad de arboles que tiene el parque, me imagino que son arboles nativos del sector eso seria muy destacado.

The bears look cool, I think they are the so called spectacled bears but this is just my delirium :b I imagine they live in the woods near the neighborhood.

Los osos se ven geniales, creo son los llamado osos de anteojos pero esto es solo delirio mío :b imagino viven en los bosques cercanos al barrio.

Something very striking was the Condor, a significant emblem because it is part of our patriotic symbols ^^

I have not seen one in person but I think the monument was created in real version, that would explain the giant :b

Algo muy llamativo fue el Condor un emblema significativo debido a que forma parte de nuestros símbolos patrios ^^

No he visto ninguno en persona pero creo el monumento fue creado en versión real, eso explicaría lo gigante :b

Another striking detail was the cleanliness of the park, it is quite neat, I saw only a few covers on the ground.

And I didn't see a park guard controlling the park, the people themselves should take care of their own and keep it nice.

Otro detalle llamativo fue la limpieza del parque, esta bastante cuidado apenas unas pocas fundas vi en el suelo.

Y tampoco vi un guardia de parques controlando. que deba cuidar el parque, la misma población se encargarse de lo suyo y mantenerlo bonito .

That's how I got to know a new place and I couldn't investigate anymore, my client arrived and the rains accompanied him :b, the park looks great and quiet so I will come back someday.

Fue así que conocí un nuevo lugar y ya no pude investigar mas, llego mi cliente y las lluvias lo acompañaban :b, se ve genial y tranquilo el parque por lo cual volveré algún día
