Walk out the sickness

So I went for a walk in the early evening since I have done that in a while and I needed it. I am currently sick, I have sinusitis now.
I have been slightly sick for 2 months now and I am getting fairly tired of it, I am still at work and such, but still. Let me live.

Anyways longed after the fresh cold air and some greenery! This city rat-life is not for me anymore, but samn its hard to get out off or to just uproot your conformable zones.

Out on my walk I clicked a few photos, something I have done in a while.

They are building this little wooden alternative pathway out to the Nature center close to me, which is awesome!

Hi @cwow2
I totally understand what you are going through with your sinuses. I've got the same thing my friend. And it's causing my ears to stop up. Have you tried using a " Netty pot" to help clean your nose and sinuses? If not do, it ...
I hope you are better soon!
Best regards!

@cwow2.

This brand of pot comes with packets of powder ( salt and baking soda ). I only use 1/2 a package because it does burn a little when your sinuses are inflamed and or infected. It helps to clear out nasal drainage too. They do have instructions. It's not that hard. Only takes a little practice.
Good luck 🤞

Hugh ? I've never seen it before.
If it's just a regular nose spray, you need to be careful using it. You can have a "rebound" effect. Which is basically you have to use it more and more. Also these can usually cause heart to race and increase in blood pressure. And a few others .

I dont know what a "regular" nose spray is xD
But I can take that up to 10 days.

On the label somewhere, if it is not for allergies, and it doesn't read that it's safe for people whom have high blood pressure... Then it's just a regular nose spray that relieves stuffy noses.
Maybe you should go see the doctor ?

I just bought this over the counter in the supermarket.
It works for sinusitis as it states on the label xD

What is it with your guys and the doctors?

LoL ... What can I say. If you are snotting green or yellow, you have an infection ! If it's clear..it's viral or allergies. Viral infection is usually not treated. Only the symptoms are treated so you can feel a little better while going through all that. When I was much, much younger, our family Doctor use to give us an "adjustment" by popping our necks. You would leave out of there feeling so much better !
I don't play around with infection. I don't want my nasal bones to get infected. Bad news there...
I used to be in the medical field if you can't tell...LoL 😆🤣😆🤣

I am snotting green/yellow, but not that often :D

And I only feel it in my throat right now :D
The nosrspray helped/fixed it and its safe up to 10 days :D I will use it today aswell and see if its gone tomorrow.

Uhuh, adjustmentd are so fking nice, I need to get that soon haha

Used to? Not anymore? What do you do now then? :E

Well, that Doc. Is abt a 6 hour drive from me. He " quit " giving adjustments a long time ago. He actually retired from his practice 3 years ago. And I should mention that he's a D.O.,. Not an M.D. They both have the same scope of practice, however the D.O. usually was more of a "Wholeistic" approach. I find that to not be true anymore. Pills, pills and MORE pills is the order of the day here in the U.S.of A.

I dont know what the difference is on D.O or M.D.

I live in Europe xD

Like I said earlier, D.O.'s , study theory is more Wholeistic (?) ( Doctor of Osteopathic medicine). Supposed to treat the Mind, body and spirit. Not a whole lot of that going on anymore. An M.D. ( Medical Doctor)

I hope that somehow this helps you to understand the difference between the 2. I used to think that a D.O. had certain restrictions i.e..couldn't perform surgery or cancer treatment. But that's not true. As long as they did their residency in that field.
Take care, stay safe and have a Blessed day.

Two things that I want to share with you.
We use a sinus cleaner called Salex and it might have a different name in your area. It is a saline solution and one has to pump the solution up into each nostril. It comes with the usage instruction and it is a sure cure for sinusitis.

We uprooted our comfortable zones 4 years ago and took a step into the unknown, as we moved to a different province near the ocean. Best thing that we ever did as it is a complete change, and we now live in a paradise that is filled with nature. They say that change is a constant and there is much truth in the saying.

I got something similar to Salex early in the morning! And have been using it throughout the day!

The headaches aint that bad anymore, so it going in the right direction! :D

Its awesome, but scary!
When you say we, is that you and your family, girlfriend/wife??

If I had a partner and we agreed on it, it would be less scary since we would have eachother as support.

Great to know that you now have a similar version and we find it to work very effectively.
We mean only me and my wife.
Oh yeah, it is good to have a partner as a sounding board and we are indeed supporting each other.
You have no partner?

You feel tired because you can't breathe normally - it's still a small persistent cold. You can try to use some natural remedies that are indicated for this type of problem - in general it is about ginger teas and some tipe of mineral salts. However, a professional doctor is the best to give you correct advice on what to do in this case - he will give you quite real help, in no case what you will find in the online environment (they can be quite dangerous online advice ). Try a doctor.

Try a doctor.

Nah, no thanks.

I am not from America, not everything needs to go through the doctor :D
