Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

I hope everyone has had a good week, as well as a successful Caturday filled with lots of good naps and treats! Today is, after all, my favorite day of the week so let's celebrate!

Well, maybe not so quick. You see, we have had several rainy days around here and that's not normal for this time of the year.

What's more, rainy days puts a serious crimp in our desire to sleep in sunny spots. Where's our summer warmth? But hopefully it'll get better in the next few days.

The Hoomans don't seem too upset about it because they say it's going to water their garden and turn the grass green. I don't mind the green grass part because we get special planters of fresh grass in the house from time to time which gives us a little greenery to chew on!

We cats may be dedicated meat eaters but we do like our greens every now and then... if nothing else to get a good hairball dislodged!

With it being rainy today, both Hoomans were indoors working on their arts and crafts projects. You see, they have some kind of "event" coming up in September and they need to make things that they can sell.

I am fully in support of them making things they can sell because that means there's going to be money enough to buy more cat treats and catnip mice... and that's a positive thing!

The "scratchy couch" is still popular with everyone!

Naturally, their creative efforts are subject to cat supervision, because everybody knows that any kind of endeavor is always going to be better quality if there is a cat helping! And I take that business very seriously!

Meanwhile, the Dad-Hooman has promised me that tomorrow we're going to do some work on the Hive-Cats Community and see if we can get a little life kicked into that.

Good Community keeping requires active engagement and we have been rather lax with that this year so we need to turn that particular trend around.

Most likely, we will resume the once popular weekly Caturday post summary, highlighting the weekend's cat related posts.

Lastly, we bring some sad news.

Hive's long-time Caturday contributor @lesmann's beloved orange kitty "Wilbur" passed over the Rainbow Bridge, this morning.

The whole Curator Cat crew send their condolences, and if you're reading these words, do take a moment to stop by his post and leave a hug and kind thought.
