Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

Hope you are having a good week, and that everyone in your family is happy and healthy!

The Mom-Hooman's new mini cat vases!

Earlier today, the Hoomans packed up their truck and headed off for a few days of holiday. According to the Mom-Hooman, it's the first time in eleven years they have gone anywhere "just for themselves" so it is definitely deserved!

Of course we cats are not exactly "Home alone" because a friend from the neighborhood is checking in and dispensing snacks and cleaning our litter boxes a couple of times a day.

Even so, it is definitely very quiet around the house without the Hoomans there!

While I am happy for them that they get a few days to rest, I do miss having their music in the background, as well as someone to always be ready with ear scratches and a warm lap for snuggles and a good nap!

The reason for the Hoomans taking a mini-holiday is actually that it is the Mom-Hooman's birthday this week... so it seemed like a good time for them to have a little rest.

Too bad they couldn't bring cats to the little cabin where they are staying, but so it goes. Cats may come across as very independent, but we really do tend to bond very deeply with our special Hoomans!

Thankfully, the Hoomans will be back home in time for Caturday, so it's not too insufferably long!

Until then, we shall do our best to keep ourselves entertained... and stay out of the plants.

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
