Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia!

After a couple of cloudy days, the sun came back out for Wednesday, which we consider "the other Caturday" around here!

The Hoomans were particularly pleased with me today because I actually agreed to sit still for long enough that they could get a whole series of photos of me, enjoying the sunshine!

Of course, it helped a lot that there were several birds on the railing outside!

Mostly, though, I just wanted to enjoy the lovely warmth of the sun.

One of the nice fringe benefits of having a black fur coat is that it really warms up in the sunshine!

No, that's not an arrow coming down on top of my head, it's just part of a star-shaped lantern the Hoomans have hung up in the creativity room!

I love the creativity room! There is just so much stuff to get into and examine, there!

Meh... those aren't even REAL flowers! What a joke!

So one of the drawbacks of always wearing a black fur coat is that when you've been in the sun for while, you actually get really hot... so I retreated to the chest where my food dish is located.

The ideal solution is to be somewhat in the sun, but not entirely.

After a while, I had had enough of looking beautiful for the camera! You just reach a point where putting on a performance starts cutting into your nap time.

So I went back to the cat perch next to the window... and even though it was still in the sun, the Hoomans had opened the window, so there was a cool breeze.

All in all, it was definitely a good day, and everyone was pretty happy! Sunshine makes all of us feel good, Hooman and Feline, alike!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
