Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

Hope this Easter weekend finds everyone healthy and happy! We have the Hoomans' adult children visiting this weekend, so there's a full house!

Thankfully, the Daughter-Hooman didn't bring her dogs so all is well in Curator Cat World!

It's very windy and cold outside, so it's definitely one of those days where I am very grateful for being an inside cat!

The Hoomans cooked a ham for the occasion, and I have to admit that even though I'm not a big fan of Hooman food, ham is one of my favorites!

So, What Else is New?

The Hoomans are hoping for "Gardening Season" to start soon — it has just been too cold — so they are always looking at seed catalogues and checking the weather forecast.

I actually like it when they go outside and bring lots of interesting smells back into the house!

Of course, I also like warmer days, because it means I get to go outside on the deck with the Hoomans when they start eating meals outside!

On a more personal level, ramping up my contributions here on Hive to include more than just Caturday updates.

I have a few ideas brewing with the Dad-Hooman, some of which will hopefully become reality. But not to worry, there will always be room for plenty of cat selfies!

Of course, we're also going to continue building the Hive Cats Community which has now rounded 270 subscribers...

Smudge is doing well and has almost "recovered" from her major haircuit... she still looks like a slightly strange tiny lion, and I promised her I wouldn't share pictures till she feels comfortable with it again... which should be soon.

I'm a cat of my word!

I'm glad I'm a short-haired cat and don't have to contend with practically being shaved once a year!

Looking back at my goals for 2023, it looks like I'm running a bit behind schedule... only adding about 168 of the target of 1200HP so far, this year.

Better get to work on that one!

These are some of the more active Cat Communities — why not join them ALL? Remember, you can also "cross post" your cat posts to them!

HiveCats by @curatorcat is a central "gathering place" for cat content on Hive; promoting the use of the #hivecats tag for feline content!

Cat Snaps by @manorvillemike is a place to post pictures of your cats when you don't have a whole lot to say beyond just sharing your cute photos!

Caturday Community by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS! It has a lot of subscribers but is not very active.

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community; it's there, but not very active.

Last, but certainly not least, a special shoutout to the Hive Pets Community which has become quite active and typically has quite a bit of cat content!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
