Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

I hope your week has started off well and that you're having a good day!

I'm in hiding!

A couple of weeks ago, I might have mentioned that we "inherited" a used cat condo from a friend who's also a cat lover, but doesn't have enough room for all their cat furniture.

The Hoomans put the new cat condo near my old one, by the sliding glass door out onto our back deck.

The cat is home!

At first I was a little suspicious of it but it didn't take me long to inspect it and certainly to start using the lower parts as a scratching post. In no time at all, I also started taking naps in the sun on top of it.

It wasn't really until today that I discovered how cool it is to go inside the little house in the middle and take a nap. It's actually nice and cool on days when it gets a little too warm to be directly in the sun for a long time.

It's nice and cozy in here!

When I'm in here, I'm almost entirely camouflaged out, but if I feel like it I can let my legs dangle outside and just relax.

All in all, this has turned out far better than we expected. This just goes to show that hand-me-down gifts from other cats can be really useful and welcome, sometimes!

Napping on top!

Actually I'm quite happy that it is here, and that it is located right next to the Dad-Hooman's creative workspace - because he's spending a lot of time there at the moment. As I mentioned before, the Hoomans are getting ready to take a trip in a couple of weekends from now to go sell their artwork at some big convention.

Of course, I hope they do really well when they are there because that means they can buy me lots of extra kitty treats and toys!

Smudge has not found the new cat condo yet so for the time being it remains my own personal secret!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS!

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community.

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
