I hope this day finds you well and happy!

Summer is Here!

Yes, it's Caturday again! And, what's more, it's the first Caturday of summer... and what makes me happy is that it is actually summery and warm outside!

That means the Hoomans have the windows and doors open, and the warm breeze of fresh air is flowing through the house!

I like sitting (and sleeping) in front of the screen on the front door, where I can see what's going on outside and even what the Hoomans are doing in the garden.

I only get to go outside sometimes with Hooman supervision because we have a lot of predators in our area... and I'm OK with being safe as a housecat, rather than having to defend myself against the likes of coyotes and even cougars!

Smudge likes to sniff the air, too... but she mostly watches the proceedings from the comfort of her cat bed, which is not too far from the front door.

She's a senior citizen kitty, and generally prefers piece and quiet and things that are "known" to her!

I'll probably feel the same when I get to her age!

Even my food dish has its own sunny perch!

Crypto... Hope?

I must admit that the general mood in the house has become a little lighter since the crypto markets took an upturn this past week!

Seems like things have been going sideways and down for so long that it almost reached the point of not being able to remember what it feels like to feel positive about what we're involved in, here.

I just hope this turns out to be something more than just a momentary blip!

It's interesting this happened now, since my memory is that June typically is a really bad month for crypto.

Which all just goes to show that trying to predict anything is a game of fools... best thing we can do is just make a plan and then see it through and hope that all turns out well!

I'm just slowly working towards my goal of building my Hive account!

*I think I heard my food dish... dinnertime!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
