Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

Welcome to another weekend here in the world of @curatorcat and family! And with that we also say welcome to another Caturday, which is my favorite day of the week because we get to unashamedly share lots of cute cat pictures!

Whoa... I didn't see you, there!

This weekend, we are also celebrating the Dad-Hooman's birthday, which is actually tomorrow! We don't know exactly how old he is but we do know that he is old!

Tomorrow the Hoomans are actually taking a short celebratory road trip to a fancy National Parks Lodge where they're going to have lunch before coming back here where we will have cake and cat treats in the evening!

All in all, it has been a good week here with everybody enjoying some nice sunny days with plenty of sunpuddles for good naps!

Last night we actually had some good rain — which made the Hoomans happy — but it had the decency to come down during the night hours so it didn't disturb our sunny naps!

It has been a good week, here at our place! That means everyone is doing well, and there has been no major drama... which is somewhat of a rarity! So we're grateful!

Somehow, we have already made it to the end of August. I'm starting to notice because the sun is getting lower in the sky, and is slowly changing where it sets.

At midsummer, the sun sets behind the island in the bay... then it slowly wanders across the water till now it is setting behind the land across the bay. By midwinter, it will be setting early, behind the mountains.

That is the way of living in a place far north where we have distinct seasons!

It's nice to see that the crypto markets are holding at a slightly higher level than earlier this summer.

It's just too bad that our Hive token keeps lagging behind the greater market. Bitcoin is up 22% in the last 30 days, but Hive is up only 1%. What gives?

I'm not going to lose sleep over it, though... just focusing on reaching my own Hive goals.

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
