Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

I hope this week is treating you well so far.

It has been a very quiet start to the week around the Curator Cat household. The Mom-Hooman is visiting the Daughter-Hooman in Seattle, meaning that there's just one Hooman to pay attention to me!

He does pretty well, all things considered, but I like it better when there are plenty of people around to adore me, as is my due!

In the meantime, I have been entertaining myself with "Kitty TV"… it seems that we are going to have spring, after all, if all the birds visiting the feeder on the deck is anything to go by.

It was actually a nice sunny day today, and the Dad-Hooman spend a lot of the day outside cutting branches off trees and cleaning up things that had come down during winter storms.

I guess he believes we're not going to have any more storms before summer! I wouldn't be so sure… but what do I know? I'm just a cat!

What I do know is that this is actually my favorite time of the year because we are starting to get longer sunnier days, but the trees have not set leaves yet which means a lot of sunshine comes into the house!

I just wish it would get a little bit warmer. The Hoomans have been keeping the house a little bit cooler than in years past, because they keep saying that the cost of warming has gone up so much that we can't afford to keep it as warm as we have in the past.

I suppose I can appreciate that. And I particularly appreciate that if keeping the house a little bit cooler means that we can still afford plenty of cat food!

Crypto & Banking Craziness?

Meanwhile, it seems like the entire world is a bit on edge about the whole banking situation… and the effect it's having on the crypto markets.

People must certainly be very nervous, because the prices of things shoot up and down rather violently even at the slightest piece of news… good or bad.

I guess I just try to take it all in stride, and remain hopeful that always taking the long term perspective is the right thing to do!

I don't think the Doomsday Sayers who go around saying things like ”Bitcoin is going to go to zero and go away completely!” have really thought through what they're saying!

But I also understand that it is difficult for people to have perspective on things they don't entirely understand.

Tomorrow afternoon the Dad-Hooman ss going to head off and pick up the Mom-Hooman from the ferry terminal, and then the house will be back to being complete! I like it better that way!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS! It has a lot of subscribers but is not very active.

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community; it's there, but not very active.

Last, but certainly not least, a special shoutout to the Hive Pets Community which has become quite active and typically has quite a bit of cat content!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
