It looks like such a beautiful place... and almost tropical looking (especially the giant bamboo), for being in the middle of the winter, and not in the tropics!
I suppose the red flowers are some type of camellia? They blossom in winter here, too.

The bamboos you see in the pictures are a small part of the park and are surrounding a pond. And yes, the pink flowers are camelias, here there are many of those trees, in fact there is a whole street called camelias and on the sides there are only these trees, you can imagine the street, it is flowered on both sides.
