I found a Tricholoma type of mushroom?
It looks like I found a mushroom that appears to be a Tricholoma muricatum. It was uprooted and lying on the ground due to last night's heavy rain. Or it could be the doing of an animal that stepped on it or a bird that landed on it. It is still intact and isn't damaged but I didn't dare to pick it up.
I think that taking a photo is a wiser move because I'm not an expert when it comes to fungi. With the power of the internet, it's so easy to search for anything through a reference photo. I simply need to upload it to Google so that my browser can scour the internet for articles that could lead me to more information about this type of mushroom.
Among my findings, it's said that this type of mushroom usually grows near pine trees. I could be wrong about its name or type because I simply compared the descriptions from the internet and tried to see if this mushroom that I found had those characteristics.
Too bad, this mushroom didn't have a chance to propagate and grow a cluster. It could have been a good site to see if there are plenty of this on the side of the pine tree where I found it.
Mushrooms are rare to find near my place so I find it interesting whenever I see one.
This mushroom is one of the inedible mushrooms. But I like your picture.
I think you're right about that, this is not edible. Thanks
Welcome
How can you be sure?
Yes, because it happened in my village
Tricholoma sp. always grow in huge clusters.
I doubt you got correct id of the family.
I had the same doubts too. Need to search more about it.

I don't know much of Biological Sciences. But I know that in my native country home, some kind of mushrooms are edible
