As a photography lover, for me, photography is just not only about clicking a button, it's capturing a feeling, a moment in time, and telling a story that will not need for words to be express. In a fast changing world, one photograph can make us stop, re-experience a memory, or spot something beautiful in something that we thought just an ordinary. Whether it's the golden light of a sunset, the raw emotion in a candid portrait, or the stillness of quiet forgotten street, photography allows us to hold and reminisce the wonder of life.

Here on this new blog of mine, we will explore the art, the passion, and the craft that goes into every shot. Whether you are just starting out to click shots with your cellphone, a someone doing this our of hobby that wants to try new things, or a pro trying to catch the perfect light, I hope you will find inspiration, reflection, lesson, and stories that value the power of the lens. I am not a pro in photography, but I one hundred one percent love doing it. I love capturing different moments, and I love reminiscing them all the time. So, be with me, as I take this visual journey, one click, one frame, one quick story at a time.

1. Golden Light of Sunset/Sunrise
First, I introduce you some of my shots of the Golden Light of Sunset and Sunrise. I am always a fan of sunset and sunrise. I remember how I would wake up so early before just to witness the sunrise, and when I came home from school, how I would wait to witness the sunset. On my previous blog, I already shared how these kind of views made me feel calm and not alone. Because for me, its my trusted friend. The golden light of the sunrise or the sunset is a reminder to each one of us that both every beginning and every ending have its own unique beauty. Looking at it and capturing it is the same like catching a sigh, a heartbeat, and a moment between the worlds of what was and what will it be.

2. Wings at Rest
Second, would be this one bird at rest. This tiny cute bird really caught my attention that time. Thus, I slowly walked to get near it, and then took a picture. I was really amaze because even though I was already near, the bird didn’t even fly as a sign that it was afraid. I don’t have a bad intentions to it anyway. I just wanted to take a closer look and took a few shot. In this world that is often busy and moving fast, a bird at rest is a sign for us of trust and peace. That taking a rest is not a sign of being weak, it is a sign of wisdom. A bird that we usually saw flying high and free, is telling us that even the strongest ones needed time to pause, even just for a short time. This moment reminds us that between chasing and dreaming, there is something special about simply resting for a while. With this, we are reminded that we can slow down, we are brave enough to rest, and to find beauty in without just always rushing and overthinking of what will happen next.

3. Sky Dancers
Third, would be these birds flying together. It amazes me how they flew with unity, and as one. They flew with grace and happiness. The moment I witness this one, it immediately reminded me the power of unity and shared purpose. When they flew together, it just shows that we don’t have to go through life alone. It shows that each bird plays an important role, and together they move and grow as one, supporting each other with every beat of their tiny but strong wings. This shows us a symbol of strength we can found in togetherness. It tells us that if we work together or move as one, then we can go farther to what we thought we couldn’t, we can face the winds (challenges in our lives) more lightly, and be at those places we couldn’t on just our own. In this image, we can clearly see the beauty of connection, the importance of trust to one another and the harmony it can possibly create. It’s a reminder that each one of are all part of something bigger, and together, we can rise higher than we ever could if we are just alone.

4. Alone, Yet Free
Next, would be this one bird I often observed many times flying alone, but still, gracefully. Which I can relate with, I can see myself with this bird. As what I’ve shared in my previous blog, I grew up without someone I can call as my friend, like a ‘trusted one’. I can see myself with this bird, being alone, but NOT LONELY, and is FREE. For me, this bird symbolizes a true independence and freedom. It just moves gracefully through the sky on its own, trusting its own tiny wings and the path ahead. Even if alone, there will always be strength in its solitude. This bird just shows us that it is very okay to go our own way, to face the different challenges by ourselves, and to trust our own ability. A reminder to us that sometimes, we need to be away from the crowd to find our own true direction. That even though we are alone, we can still go high, we can find our own path, and embrace the peace that comes with knowing that we already have, everything that we need, it is just within us, in order to keep moving forward.

5. Tiny Calming Waves
Another one, is these beautiful tiny and calming waves. This is just only few of my shots. I like to stay near the shore, that’s why I witness the tiny calming waves most of the time, especially that I really love listening to the sound of the waves. Because it feels nostalgic to me, as it brings all the memories I once experience when we were still in Bonawon. And these tiny calming waves made me realize that peace doesn’t always come in big moments. The gentle rhythm of the waves is a quiet reminder that even just those smallest things can already give you calm. For me, these tiny calming waves tells that I don’t need to rush and fight just to find peace. Because, it is already there, in the calm present continuous flows of waves. And, just like the waves, each of us can find strength in slowing down, one step at a time, and trusting that each moment of calm can brings us closer to balance, and to what’s meant for us.

6. Paddling towards Dreams
Then, this emotional one. A man paddling his pumpboat in the sea. Every time I saw them paddling, I admire their determination and strength. He moves forward with his every stroke of the paddle, even in the vastness of the water. The sea may be calm or sometimes maybe rough, but the he keeps on paddling, trusting that each stroke of the paddle will bring him closer to his destination. His journey is a n illustration of patience, perseverance, and courage . Even if not knowing exactly what lies ahead, but he still choose to keep forward as he has a purpose. This image just reminds us that life, just like the sea, is sometimes (or always) unpredictable. There are moments that we feel alone and unsure, but just like the man with his paddle, we do have the power to keep moving forward, even just for one step at a time. Even when we can’t see the shore (our future), the act of paddling (keep moving forward and keep going), is already enough to keep us moving to where we need and want to be.

This are just some of my photographs, I will share the others on my next blog. Any way, I apologize as I am not a pro, I just really love doing it. Now, as we wrap up this different journeys through the lens, I hope these various moments captured in those times inspires you to look deeper, and to see all the beauty in each day. Every photo holds a lesson! Photography will always be isn’t just about what we see, but what and how we feel and connect with the world that surrounds us. Thank you for joining me in this creative and deep exploration, Hivers. I look forward to sharing more stories, #OneFrameAtATime.
