Unique kind of fruit.

The fruit of the pan de palo comes from a tree that has an average growth of 12 to 15 meters, which can grow up to 21 meters.
It is a tree that has spread throughout the tropics, whose scientific name is Artocarpus altilis, and its fruit is rounded and covered with thorns for those with seeds, as is the case with the one I am presenting to you.
Although there may be those with a smooth surface for those with seedless fruit.
This fruit that I show you in photos comes from a plant that is in the heart of the city of Barquisimeto and when I passed by there, it had just fallen and they gave it to me.
Its seed is consumed parboiled, baked or toasted and they are very rich and nutritious, with which you can make jams, majaretes, atoles, flour, arepas or simply eat them as such by removing their husks.
