We used to have small lanterns like this too! We barely used them unless there's a power outage, which didn’t really happen often. But it still brings back memories, especially from when I was younger and we had to make a lantern out of used cooking oil and cloth for a Science project.

Few people would understand its importance. .these used to be our lifeline after the sun set...this is most of the time peoole sleep early in villages.
