Circular honeycomb – Entry for The Friendlymoose Photocontest – "REPETITION"
Repetition in photography is when the same element, like a shape, object, or pattern appears multiple times in a photo. This can create a pleasing visual pattern. – @friendlymoose
This description immediately made me think of a picture I took at work, in the pharmacy.
So this is my entry for The Friendlymoose Photocontest #FPC with the new topic "REPETITION".
What do we see here?
It is a large pack of small glass tubes that are used as packaging for magic sugar pearls.
Some people would call them globules and an alternative medicine.
Others are of the opinion that they only help against acute sugar deficiency and their effect does not go beyond the placebo effect.
For me, it was just a good motive on my hunt for structures – a very satisfying one. I personally stay away from the contents of these tubes, sugar can be bought cheaper elsewhere.
The almost infinite repetition of circles, the perfect geometric figure, in combination with the warm colour had a calming effect on me.
Perhaps it really is more than a placebo after all?
No! – Just calming pixels on a screen.
Comments are very welcome, but I'm not going to get into a discussion about alternative remedies – the one who cures is right!
All photos are taken with a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra camera by me,
@cryptozeug, unless otherwise stated. Polished with Affinity Photo, or not.

oh dang, that looks rad. Love how the angel really shows the depth, while also still having that strong sense of repetition.
So I reached the goal, thank you. 😎
You def did!
Wow! This is beyond cool! It had quite of a psychedelic effect / impact on me! Thank you! 😆
At first I thought it is a portal into another dimension that you just manifested.
Took me more than few second to realise that these are actually glasses. Pfff. Mega!
The angle, composition, light, repetition & all about this is absolutely LIT! 🔥
It also looks like honeycombs, perhaps that honey from very high altitude in the Himalayas mountains, now I know why I got the psychedelic effect! 🥹🥲😂🐝🍯
And it also looks like a picture from glassblowing workshop, like a huge piece with circles metals!
Quick question, how many pictures you have took. In a single one? ✨
Thank you for sharing! Thanks for the free trip!
I'm glad that my pictures can trigger something like this. Sometimes that's the plan.
There were 6 photos in total, two of which I have processed here. The first two are identical, only the orientation is different.
I've heard about this honey, but haven't had the pleasure of tasting it yet. It's on the bucket list...
By the way, that was a @topcomment
🙏🏻🙂🍯🐝
It definitely triggered something quite intense. Thanks for sharing! So looking forward to see your next entries! Happy to discover your presence here.
And yes it is on my bucket lists too.
By the way, thank you for reciving & perceving my comment as a top comment!
🥲📸
Well, it was one. You make an effort and write a comment with content instead of just ‘beautiful photos’ or ‘wonderful’. That way you stimulate a conversation and create added value.
I think that's exactly what topcomment is for, to reward that. I don't want to overuse it here, so no ‘@’ in front of it. But there'll be opportunities again. Thanks again for your visit in my little world.
I agree! I hear you! Hehe! 🙂
Thank you as well for visiting mine, the birds & life’s nature connected us in a cool way.
I really wish you will win this round as for me, your picture is the coolest so far.
Not sure if I am allowed to express this as I don’t want to influence anyone ahhaah, is just my opinion & it comes down to compare that picture with mine for this round.
And not because is your picture, but because it really made me feel & trip! :) sorry for the repetition, but the REPETITION is the theme of this week! Hahaha
Until next time!
All the best my friend!
P.S. May the bucket list find you sooner than expected hahah
Well, it might. I just asked a friend about it...
And I also just found your post and must give it a read. Looked at the photo 3 times and need to find out what's behind, looks interesting. Great entry at first glance, now I must give it a second one. Best of luck for the contest!
Also thank you for reblogging, that made me smile.
It might indeed! 🙂
Glad it made you look three times, and thank you for considering reading the entry. Hope the "second one" will bring you something.
Thanks, too you as well.
It was definitely for reblogging, I don't have much followers, not sure it will bring something from that point of view, yet I wanted to have it there as it was one of the first shots...from which I had that kind of trippy effect. Happy it made you smile! 🥲📸
I also nave not so many followers at the moment but every step and every gesture counts.
Yea, I agree! :)
It’s also about quality not quantity...at the moment.

They that is super cool looking and would be WAY better looking after some added... personal effects ;) wink wink lol
That closes the circle. These effects could be the reason for my hunt for patterns. Feel free to test it later, it's on chain. 😅
lol will do
Very cool repetition of circles and I like the gradient in the color al too! I still don't understand what they are used for, but it's a cool entry!
To be precise, one gram of globules, homeopathic alternative medicines, gets filled into it. We obtain these small sugar balls in larger quantities and fill them into these tubes.
Thank you for your feedback, it's motivating.
I had read it, but I don't get it 😂
Maybe I should Google it.
Better not, your life is ok without it. 😁
these looked like metal rings at first glance until you finally see the glass bottoms. wow!
Right, I also see the metal rings. Our brain does strange things sometimes.
and when it happens to many of us, it must be a phenomenon. ahahha. very interesting work
We are about to find somerhing really big ;)
Will try to find more such patterns.
