ME, MYSELF & HIVE

ME
My name is Paulo Abrantes AKA Cryptoreforma.

I was born in Africa (Luanda, Angola) in 1969, on February 11th, just before man set foot on the moon in the Apollo 11 Mission.

After the proclamation of Angola's independence, my parents, like thousands of other Portuguese, had to return to their homeland. It was the end of the colonial empire in Africa.

At the age of six I saw my parents starting their lives from scratch, in Portugal. Until I was 13 I lived in Oliveira do Hospital and, since then, I settled in Coimbra – Portugal, where I live and develop my work.

MYSELF
In 1998 I began my photography training and, two years later, I began my professional activity as a photojournalist. After 5 years, fed up with schedules and little motivation for the media, I became a freelancer, expanding my work to other photographic genres.

I had the privilege of having worked in the analogue process and, fortunately, adapted well to the digital process - always available for new technological uses, namely AI.

I made several exhibitions, editions and photographic documentation of various cultural events.

I teach photography, I was the founder of the Secção de Fotografia AAC and the Um Ponto Dois photographic association. From the extensive work of 3 decades, I highlight what gave me the most pleasure doing: photography for the blind people. Yes, through a relief printing process, I gave blind people the possibility of accessing photographic art. This inclusion work led me to have exhibitions in Brazil and Spain (countries developed on the subject of blindness).

The digital process in photography paved the way for multimedia its use, in addition to being a powerful tool, opens the way for new survivals. In the last half decade I have also worked in social media management, with the contribution of photography in content production.

& HIVE
In November 2023 I started studying cryptocurrencies and seeing the possibility of creating a savings/investment for my retirement. Enough to understand that BTC is an asset to be retained, ETH is very useful for paying fees and gas, and among the thousands of existing cryptocurrencies I want to bet on those that give me solidity and usefulness.

I was lucky enough to meet Fëanor (@feanorgu). A happy coincidence! He introduced me to the Hive world and I immediately became fascinated with this project.

The possibility of marketing my skills and shares in a Web3 environment, where decentralization, blockchain technology, are the ecosystems I have always looked for. Being able to interact with communities within my interests and skills motivates me to leave my humble footprint on this immense project.

I have my objectives well defined: after the Halving, I will gain 10x the altcoins I invested and, with the profit, transfer everything to Hive and HDB and stake to secure my future, my old age retirement.
