BYBEAU Lighting  [ENG-PT/BR]

This light installation was the setting for a show by the renowned Portuguese magician Luis de Matos. It is part of the Dimple installation, a personalized work adapted to different circumstances, by BYBEAU (artistic name of Beau McClellan).


The installation is the integration of light into art. It harmonizes natural light during the day and comes alive at night. It consists of around 1,500 pendant lights that alternate colors. It was the setting for the Pronovias 2017 bridal fashion show in Barcelona.


As well as being a very friendly and affable person, Beau McClellan is an artist, a lighting designer.

He started out as a sculptor, working with artistic blacksmithing techniques using artisanal processes. He has done set design for films, worked in advertising and dabbled in music. But it was in 2000, through his insatiable creativity, that he started out in the world of lighting design and making fantastic light sculptures.
