Yes that s very true ad why I took my jacket into be cleaned by a specialist dry cleaning company. It took a month and 3 processes and they even applied a special oil so the color returned like new. Most dry cleaners cannot do this so be careful and find one who does leather.

That is a great tip. I hadn't even considered how I would clean mine, as it is still good with the occasional shake through the air. I guess after 30 years it will likely need a more thorough cleaning. I will be sure to take it to a specialist dry cleaner when that day comes. I'm glad your jacket is still in good condition after all these years.
