Friendlymoose Photo Contest - ANIMALS
Hello to photography lovers in Hive. I hope you are having a great day. This is my first time entry to @friendlymoose contest - ANIMALS. This is also my first time to post using the Ecency app. The photo I have and my entry to the contest is of a large turtle from our visit to a zoo. I'm fascinated by turtles since I grew up watching our version of Sesame Street with a turtle as the main character.

There is also the folk tale of turtle and the monkey. It is a popular Filipino folk tale and often told as a bed time story. The monkey is cunning and lazy but the patient turtle often outsmart him.
There were other animals in the zoo but I like reptiles the best. They look unconcerned but they are dangerous.
The crocodile has thick, armor like skin. It has a bad reputation in our country and often corrupt politicians are called crocodiles. It's unfair to the crocodile, it has done nothing wrong. I find the crocodile interesting. It just sits still and wait for its opportunity to strike.
The python is the same as the crocodile. Snakes has a bad reputation too and traitors in our country are called "ahas" or snake. I find the python scary and fascinating. It grips its prey to death and swallows them whole.
I like the three photos of animals but only one is allowed to be entered in the contest.
