RE: Garden after a devastating storm

What a rollercoaster to come home to – relieved to hear the house was untouched and it’s mainly the greenhouses that bore the brunt of it.” That harvest haul is seriously impressive though, especially those Hokkaidos and the endless eggplant producer! The cross-pollinated Hokkaido sounds like a fun little mystery to look forward to tasting. Sorry about the scratch from the greenhouse panel, hope that heals up quick. Great attitude in keeping perspective against the wider damage across Switzerland – sounds like you’ll have everything rebuilt and ready well before next season.

Many were not as lucky. It was really sad to see the news about the damages. We've been eating our vegetables since May, and as I try to do some continuous planting I hope that we'll enjoy them at least until November 😊 But for that we need to repair the greenhouses quickly...
Oh, I can't wait to taste that Hokkaido! So far, we've tried the 'normal' Hokkaido as well as Butternut and they were really good.
