First Caturday in April

Happy Caturday everyone! The Coon is so excited she can barely contain herself 😸 When you live with furry friends once and a while the timing is just right for that perfect Polaroid moment. She was waking up after a long slumber.

Crypticat hasn't quite woken up from her winter hibernation. Then again, cats can hibernate all year round. The Coon is far more active than your average cat, because she's not a cat, she's a Mainecoon.

Here the Coon is in her new favourite chair. It's her director chair, she is my director, I work, she directs. Truth be told, I was tired of kicking her out of my seat so we gave her one of her own. It's sort of like a hammock for cats.

I get out my decoy laptop for when there is serious work to do. We are advised to lock out screens when AFK so others can't use our computers and it's even worse when a cat jumps on the keyboard. Who knows what she's been up to, I often come back to messed up screens and random written words.

Here's Crypticat at her favourite watering hole. Neither of them drink out of the water bowl, that's just for washing ones paws in after a meal.

She looks around, thinking is it okay to drink? It's sad when the water gets low, she will dip her paws in there then start licking them.

The Coon is guarding her chicken. She is a very skinny cat so I thought to start feeding her chicken to bulk her up a little. She needs to put on weight if shes going to dominate the neighbourhood this Spring.

Crypticat is our gentle giant. She looks innocent and lazy but she is a fighter.

Here's the Coon in a pensive state, she was watching me set up the guest room. From this window one can see the mountains. Neither of our cats have ever been there, I wonder what they even think of the mountains if anything at all?
