Tonight I bring you one more story of my travels, this time in La Guaira - Venezuela, we went Karting to experience a mix of adrenaline and speed, so I invite you to know this great adventure.

At the track they enter in groups of seven, they measure us to see if we have the minimum height required and they give us some disposable caps like the ones they give in a clinic, of course I asked why use them, of course the answer surprised me and is that it is for hygiene to prevent that through the helmets is transferred something undesirable.

In fact my daughter knew the importance when the first time she rode, she was impacted in a very high speed curve, her glasses broke and the helmet flew, so after this hard experience she was going to try it again.

I felt like a formula one driver, so I prepared myself mentally to take advantage of every second at high speed, I hope not to crash because during the instructions they said that depending on the damage to the kart they can take us out of the race before the end of those seven minutes.

We enter the track, so we each take our little formula one training type car, so I move the steering wheel which is quite hard, and I am instructed not to press both pedals at the same time.

All of us are already in place, waiting for the start signal, so I can feel the speed of these vehicles in my own body.

Está noche les traigo una historia más de mis viajes, está vez en la Guaira - Venezuela, fuimos al Karting para experimentar una mezcla de adrenalina y velocidad, así que los invito a conocer esta grandiosa aventura.

Este día en Karting La Guaira hay una promoción de siete minutos por diez dólares, así que trataremos de aprovechar al máximo cada segundo, cómo siempre me acompaña mi hermana, mi hija y mis sobrinos.

Nos acercamos a la taquilla y adquirimos las respectivas entradas, luego pasamos a prepararnos para este paseo, en el pequeño carro de carreras, esta opción de entretenimiento lo encontramos en las costas de la Guaira, que fomenta la recreación familiar.

En la pista entran en grupos de siete, nos miden para ver si tenemos la estatura mínima requerida y nos entregan unos gorros desechables así como los que entregan en una clínica, por supuesto que pregunte el porque usarlos, por supuesto la respuesta me sorprendió y es que es por higiene para prevenir que a través de los cascos se transfiera algo indeseable.

En uso del casco es indispensable para la seguridad, por si impactado a gran velocidad en una de esas vueltas, de hecho mi hija supo la importancia cuando la primera vez que se montó, se impacto en una curva muy alta velocidad, que se le partieron los lentes y el casco voló, así que luego de esta dura experiencia iba a intentarlo nuevamente.

Yo me sentía como una piloto de fórmula uno, así que me prepare mentalmente para aprovechar cada segundo a gran velocidad, espero no chocar porque durante las instrucciones dijeron que depende del daño al kart pueden sacarnos de la carrera antes de finalizar esos siete minutos.

Entramos a la pista, así que cada uno toma su pequeño carro tipo entrenamiento de fórmula uno, así que muevo el volante el cual es bastante duro, y me indican que no debemos apretar los dos pedales al mismo tiempo.

Ya todos ubicados, a la espera de la señal de inicio, así que podré sentir en cuerpo propio la velocidad de estos vehículos.

Luego de ver los carros kart estacionados y luego como pasan tan rápido que apenas logro ver o captar con la cámara.
