I've been here for a few days, getting excited about sharing my lens with all of you, and learning that I don't know shit about Steem web3.

Case in point, introductory posts are an important part of growing the community — but I've managed to post two collections without actually doing it myself.

So, here I am.

Succinctly put, I'm a globe trotter, a metalhead, and a passionate lover and observer of the world around me.

That's Murph. He's one of my dogs, my little shadow, and generally cooler than me in every possible aspect of life. You'll probably see a lot of him; he tends to steal the show wherever we go.

I love to take pictures.

I do a lot of things; I'm a doer. I live for live music. I run a lot. I squish people's dogs. I do a lot of charity work. I shoot things (cameras and guns.) I'm a graphic designer, front end coder, hard partier, and an emotionally open book. Out of all the things I do, I think taking pictures is the most rewarding and the most worthwhile.

I plan to write about all the places I visit and things I see, and look for other people here doing the same. Steem is expanding our world exponentially, but it's bringing us closer together — follow me on my journeys, and show me yours.

thanks for the welcome~ just taking a look through your stuff — you're a 3D printing goddess! What a cool hobby. Is it expensive? (I mean, outside of upfront printer costs.... I've thought about maybe getting a small machine, but I don't know much about what it would take filament-wise to make pieces. )

You're welcome!:-) . I just started, im still a newbie in 3d. My husband started 2 years ago with 3d. And now i am willing to learn more and make more cool designs in 3D. Printbot simple metal. From a kit, to built yourself is cheaper. He paid 600€ years ago. He now has a more advanced 3d printer from prusa €900, from a kit build himself. So i have now his older printer. Filament we bought at colorfabb for about 35 euros per color. Would be nice to also get to know another female 3D designer :-)

That's very cool- it's not cheap, but it's not totally restrictive either. Metal pieces would be great for jewellery. I'll follow you and see what you come up with ;)

I haven't done any true 3D work yet, but I do a lot of art and photography and have always wondered if the shapes and figures I see would translate well into that medium. I often do vectors and text graphics for merchandise, so I imagine the design process would be similar...

I would love to have a metal 3D printer. But i think thats super duper expensive. My goal is to make plastic jewelry that will not look ugly or cheap by combining it with other materials. I also design clothes, not by sketches but directly on the patterns. Im not good in drawing. I hope soon i will be able to show my designed clothing combined with 3d steemit designs:-). I am waiting to see more of your art photography work!

thank you for the red carpet words! I've never been an introvert, but the idea of sharing all the random stuff I do never crossed my mind before. I've worked hard to be able to be able to travel, but I realize there's a lot of privilege there too. If I can share some of these stunning places and fascinating situations with people in a way that is genuine and interesting, then I feel like that's a great trade off for getting to see their lives and experiences. :)

I travel extensively as well. One international vacation each year and numerous work/vacation/workation trips throughout the year. Hopefully I can share some interesting stories. I will be in Canada next month (workation) in Vancouver!
