Is English not your first language? Most people call them roses, never rosehip flowers. They do produce rosehips, you are right, but the plant and flower is called a rose.
Don't let me discourage you, though. I have been following you on Hive, and always enjoy your content.
The flowers are very beautiful. I am amazed by how many plants are still producing magnificent blooms in September.

But we call them that. Rose hips are bushes, and after they bloom, fruits appear, and then you can pick the fruits and make tea and many other things.
And roses are roses.
You are right, they are essentially a variety of roses.
