After the storm

I love rain. Last night it did not stop raining and I was sitting in my bed while listening to the symphony of the many drops of water. So relaxing....
This morning was pretty foggy outside and I loved it. It made me want to run back home and get my camera. Although now I can no longer have my wide and telephoto, I managed to make some pictures with my old Nikon. I only do black and white photography.

I loved to smell the fresh air. While it was still raining I managed to hear all the birds, unusually loud. There was nobody in this little natural park of our city. You could be completely alone, enjoying nature. I think it was my first time ever wearing latex gloves when handling my camera

I managed to see a baby deer calmfully eating in the forest. I was in complete joy.

I wanted to focus mainly on raindrops. I wanted to be able to smell a moody rain through my photos.

I missed going out to take photos. This Nikon is almost 10 years old, we've been buddies for a long time. I think that expressing yourself through photography is a another form of art. The art of saying the unsaid.

Nice snaps. Do you shoot in black and white or convert them later?

I convert them later and work a bit in Photoshop. But when I go shooting and searching for composition, I already see it in black and white in my head

Ah ok...I'm a bad photographer and don't edit so...That's why my photos are rubbish. Lol. I like your black and whites though. Rain drops and black and white make for good photo opportunities.
