DAILY BLOG: Raining While In Open Classroom

Have a nice day everyone!

Embracing the coldness of the day! A strong rain happened yesterday while we were in our open classroom. The students felt sleepy and couldn't hear my discussion so I stopped and just watching the rain stopped falling. Sometimes, I feel worry of there's a landslide in our mountain. There is still a mountain in the upper part of the school. We are always alert most especially during night time.

My viand for today, my selfie and ready my laptop for our lesson today in mathematics.

Heavy rain came and all the students felt so cold. We were just staring on every raindrops on every leaf of the plants around. Looking the happy grasses and trees subside from long time thirst

Rain is useful to clean the air from haze of Indonesia. But rain is no longer useful when it causes landslide and flooding that kill people. Who got wrong from all of this happening? The illegal loggers are the one who made it. We are surrounded by forest until now. We have wild pigs here a d many other wild animal. People here are aware of they cut trees in the forest, they will be in harm someday. No kaingineros in this place. The indegious people are now educated. They are not the one who made it but the businessman who came here before for logging. No to logging. They are fighting for their right now to defend the nature.

Anyway, are you wondering why my room is open? My little hut is near here and steps away from my door so I choose it since then. There are already concrete room but I love this makeship room. This makeship room is open and sometimes it could be the place where cool food during feeding time. I love this room, I could breath with fresh air from the forest. When I open the door of my hut, I see the morning meadows full of life. At night, the sounds of the insects made me remember my hometown, in our place in Bohol where I born.

• After the rain, I let my students go home in fear, some rivers are full of heavy water from the mountains. Some of them are coming from three kilometers away from home and their way home would be slidy.
