Visit a friend and taste the fruit he grows

Phu is my old colleague two years ago, today while I am not too busy, I visited him and also to ask him some more gardening experience, and he wanted to take me up to taste the variety oranges that he is about to harvest and sell on the market. Currently he makes small miniature plants for creative decoration. Remember the first day when we met, he said he was very passionate about small bonsai and mosses and lichens. A person as young as him and passionate is rare among people his age. He greeted me in his garden suit, as natural and comfortable as he was, giving me no chance to say anything but wanting to lead me up to the orangery three hills from his house. He has a small mixed forest trail that weaves under a dense canopy of vines and thorny bushes.

The cool air and the sound of birds in the forest slowed our pace. It pauses and often stops to rest and admire the beautiful plants in the forest. The squirrels heard our voice and ran away, because they were afraid of people, because people here still hunt them.

The forest here is quite dry and lacks spring sources, Phu told me that the stream is now very dry, the terrain is steep and hilly, causing a lack of water storage areas. Perhaps because of this, the diversity of flora and fauna here is also weaker than that of tropical forests in other provinces of

Then we also went to his orange garden, this is the land he rented to grow oranges. He hybridized two different types of oranges because according to him, the original orange soup had a lot of sour taste and he wanted to increase the sweetness.

There are about a thousand orange trees here and grown naturally, without using modern techniques and pesticides, so I can rest assured that I try to pick and eat. Repeatedly on each orange tree I chose at random, especially when I can look out into the distance with this mountain view.

The garden he left was so natural that there was no path between the beds, while the sharp grass. I asked him if it would be difficult for the worker to get around and transport the fruit to the small truck below when it was time to harvest. He immediately replied, "Lend me some money".

The sun was not too hot and it was also warm so we just sat under a certain tree to chat and he also shared some information and experience with me in planting and taking care of some new plants that I plan to plant. them in my garden. The atmosphere is conversational and deeply connected even though we rarely see each other. An old friend welcomed me with water from oranges and outdoor tables and chairs. Interesting!

You're a lucky person to be around those orange threes. They don't grow here, unless in green houses as the climate is not suitable. I hope one day I'm going to be able to pick some oranges from the tree, instead of buying them from the grocery store.

Yes it is, the soil here is also not suitable for purebred oranges, so he has to crossbreed with local orange varieties.
Indeed, eating them feels so much better because I trust them to be clean and chemical free.
