Uganda's finest

Happy New Year!

Am I late? Well I am even late for Orthodox and not to mention even Chinese New Year… I know, I know. But hey hope year 2023 started well for you all! With us it is kind of same old, same old. We were a bit ill last week, but now we are already in full swing.
Exactly one month has passed since my last post and it included 22 photos from my recent travel. You kind of liked the photos, so why not to continue with my latest trip which is by the way only a distance memory by now, meaning I already missing travel time.
I was planning a trip to US similar to last year. It would have come at the end of February. But at the end, I somehow didn’t push the green button. Maybe I will change my mind if Mavs will go to playoffs, to see postseason basketball live as they say it is completely different than regular season. Well, we will see.

Back to my African adventure. Uganda was super fun, but challenging at times as well. Had quite a few unexpected setbacks, but hey that makes travel unforgettable, right. More details from it in some other future post. Right now, I would like to jump straight into photo story. Here you have a mix of Uganda's finest of how should I call it?

Wish you all a splendid day and weekend ahead! See you around!

Africa moves at it's own pace, you stop for passing animals, vehicles overheat, people come out to greet, always on African time, never set backs....

Waterfalls look stunning, perhaps we appreciate more living on a dry continent, where faces tell the story.

Those photos speak volumes! Of course living in SA I can relate to many of those photos. Years ago the area I lived was very rural. So most of these photos were my every day life....and yes that includes the lions and elephant. Africa is a really special and unique place. I'm sure your visit was unforgettable

Thanks for such great pictures. My aunt was a volunteer in Rwanda when I was a kid and she always told me a lot of great histories of when she was there. I was a kid but I grew up with her typical african souvenirs and tales about the warmth she felt there.
I hope I will manage to go there as well!
