I will need to retrieve this wonderous machine from my pal Dan. I afforded him the pleasure of using it for his latest project however the camera holds dear to me. It is one of my great finds and Dan, well, well Dan's life is a wonder and he has so many things that it could easily get lost in the rubble of his upper quarters.

The portrait above was taking in Pune when my leg was broken. I was contained to the small iron clad bunker you see in the image. Just me and the dogs and a big bag of truly awful cannabis. I'd get high and wait, playing with my dogs, my camera's and waiting for the now ex-wife to send another emergency package.

The bunker (apartment) shared with other men did have a garden. I used this for a bit but the neighbours were not lovers of dogs and it became a problem. Here is a nice capture of Mr Sully's shadow. I see him sometimes these days but he lives with Hazel. Big blondy, Bella lives with me. It was sad to separate them but it happened and both are happy. I love 35mm the details in the shadows, the character!

India with broken bones wasn't really the best place for photography. In the 3 months I was there I worked through the first few snaps of a not so fresh expired roll. When I developed the roll years later it crossed over with my first month back in Leith Scotland where I finished the roll. This is Elvis & Shakespeare record store near Elm Row. A local favourite.

One of the first jobs I got before I found out my partner at the time was pregnant was to manage a small Pizzeria called Origano. This is a portrait of Gabrielle working the olive oil. He was a funny character. He loved Metall. Politics. He loved to create your staff meal however was not a fan of you choosing it.

This is a portrait of Lewis Bergen. A long-term good friend and first flatmate of our excursions back home. This was taken in Pilrig Heights where we first lived for two years, conceived our child and learned to grow as people. Despite they were good times, I am glad they are over and new horizons are breaking out. My life at this point was never an open one.

This is Liam, one of the craziest people I know, in a good way. Me and Liam once wrote a bizarre screenplay called Cruikshank' that we never made.

I hope you liked some of these images. All were hand processed and scanned many moons ago. I'll be back with more soon.
Peace and Love,
Cotton!
