crashing against my skin
my cells
my innermost membranes

How did you manage to photograph the bird so closely?
Well, firstly, I have a 600mm lens and a camera that lets me crop to the equivalent of 900mm. But also, I spend a lot of time with these crows and they trust me, and let me come very close to them.
This guy is the adult son of the crow in the photos:
They're all wild.
By the way, crows are smart enough to become human friends.
