in stillness, I

awhirl above
with hollow bones
those shiny eyes
and raucous tones
swift of wing
and free to fall
in stillness, I
consume it all

birds above
and at my feet
with hearts and wings
and things that beat
the fast inside me
turned to slow
I lose myself
in life of crow
