doot dooo doo-doot-doo-doot

Photographed from the other side of my car on San Juan Island in Washington. I neither wanted to corrupt baby, nor get into trouble with the locals for being less than 75 feet away (though technically a baby fox sitting on the lawn of someone's house at the edge of the road I am driving on cannot be kept at a distance of 75 feet lest I swerve the car off a bluff and into the ocean), so I kept my contact minimal.

At least that's what I tell myself. I probably fucked up. Made eye contact. I probably talked to baby fox and told them how cute they were. My actions were completely involuntary! An expression of hardwired maternal instinct.

Are you going to turn me in to the authorities?
