Pieles de tonos oscuros se ven como hadas al danzar, resaltan y componen con cada aliento, desean disfrutar la existencia que se merecen, al igual que todos, pero en ciertas mentes no se reconoce la variedad, así que es recurrente el irrespeto.

Entonces se alzan voces entre cantos de los cielos y nacen nuevas propuestas, dejando que se escuche cada tono pertinente, demostrando a la sociedad que debe reevaluarse. A pesar de estar en el medio artístico, más libre, por así decirlo, sigue ocurriendo desencuentros ante lo humano.

Tuve la oportunidad de tomarle fotos a Clara Sorzano, bailarina venezolana, creadora de BLACKOUT PROJECT, documental que trata el racismo en el mundo del ballet clásico. Tres bailarines, extraordinarios en técnica e interpretación, tan distintos a su manera y tan cercanos por las situaciones que fueron sometidos.

Dark-toned skins look like fairies when dancing, they stand out and compose with every breath, they wish to enjoy the existence they deserve, just like everyone else, but in certain minds variety is not recognized, so disrespect is recurrent.

Then voices are raised between songs of the heavens and new proposals are born, letting every relevant tone be heard, showing society that it must reevaluate itself. In spite of being in the artistic environment, freer, so to speak, there continue to be misunderstandings before the human.

I had the opportunity to take pictures of Clara Sorzano, Venezuelan dancer, creator of BLACKOUT PROJECT, a documentary that deals with racism in the world of classical ballet. Three dancers, extraordinary in technique and interpretation, so different in their own way and so close because of the situations they were subjected to.
