The Kids Are Alright

Yesterday was Presidents' Day, and that means no school here in Louisville. Didn't mean they all stayed home.

High school students from Indiana and Kentucky converged on the Big Four Bridge to protest against and call for an end to the regime's gun thugs and their murderous kidnapping rampages.

Hundreds of community members joined the students on the railroad-turned-pedestrian bridge over the Ohio River.

A few city officials even took part, including Councilwoman (and mayoral candidate) Shameka Parrish-Wright.

Organized by students as young as 15, many were too young to be able to vote in the upcoming elections but not too young to be affected by all that's happening in this country.

One spoke about being from Cuba, and how kids shouldn't have to be afraid of going to school.

Have seen reports of ICE here in Louisville stalking kids home from the school bus stop to snatch their parents.

As the kids say, Fuck ICE!

"Our neighbors are not strangers, these are our neighbors."

Standing up and speaking out, think these kids are alright.
