Rambling About Town
If you were looking for a sign, there it is. _They don't really care about us, but we already knew that didn't we? '_My country tis of thee, sweet land of oligarchy' and all that.
Where was I? Oh yeah, Louisville. Nice place, drinking town with a sports problem. Even has a Bourbon Trail. Heard through the grapevine that if the CIA ever gets around to declassifying it, we're getting a Cocaine Trail next.
The folks that call this place home are a decent sort, mostly, but the management is terrible. The city can't manage to keep enough buses on the road to get all the kids to school but the cops never lack for expensive toys. Starting to seem like a theme when luxury property developers wind up in charge of things.
Good thing the Queen of Fucking Everything is here. Maybe she can explain where I was going with this.
Even if she could, it'd probably make about as much sense as colonial smartphones.

They don't care about us. They never did. Few even care about any deeper philosophy.most run for office because they want power and wealth, and government is the path to legal plunder.
