On The Phone

It's 10 PM, do you know where your phone is? Who am I kidding, you're probably playing with it this very minute.

What we have here is a habit. Not the sort the nuns wear, the kind you go to meetings for. Do you find yourself feeling anxious when you don't know where it is or when you'll get to use again? Do you find yourself thinking about it when you're not using?

Called it. Recently decided to make a point of documenting people's public drug phone usage. May be low hanging fruit but it should be interesting to see how we look when we're hooked on digital junk.

Was flipping through old photos and discovered I'd already been documenting this for a while, albeit unintentionally. Seems it's difficult to take photos of people in public and not get shots of them using phones.

Not too long ago, carrying on like we do with phones would have viewed rather poorly, akin to chainsmoking at the gym nowadays. Wouldn't surprise me if phone use imitates cigarettes in terms of public acceptance, there's already places and events that are going phone-free.

Which means there's likely plenty of time left to work 'On The Phone.'

And the best part is that nobody will even notice.

Same. Phones are sneaky, before you know it they'll slip right into your hand.

Thanks.
Not the adjectives that I would have expected, but all what you're used to I suppose :)
