Music To Relax To

avatar
(Edited)

They say it's all about to end. Then again they say lots of things. I say it's Tuesday, which calls for a trey of tunes to relax to. Since when did Netflix and chill turn into genocide and chill? Pretty sure this calls for metal. Is there anything more relaxing than metal?

Promised myself I wouldn't let this get too heavy aside from the music, then turned around and headed straight for genocide. Too much news is bad for you. On a lighter note, who wants to kidnap Elon Musk and ransom him for a Falcon Heavy so we can head for Planet B?

Even if Planet B doesn't pan out there's always Another World, just bring along a towel and if nothing else we can hitchhike our way there.

On that note, should probably ride on out of here. Do you enjoy a little heavy metal in your diet? What sort of music do you relax to?

The coloured pictures are so beautiful this time . That Sunset and the waves, then you have the slow flowing stream with all those colours of Spring.
I relax to country music.

Ah, nice. I have a tumultuous relationship with country but it can be great to relax to :)

I love Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's music very much and whenever I'm in trouble or traveling like this over beautiful places I always listen to this music it gives me so much peace.

I had never heard of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan before, looked him up and gave it a listen. While the lyrics escaped me I can definitely see how you enjoy it, was rather lovely.

Love the photos and song links!

Oh, I don't know, all music I suppose. If I'm in the mood for it, I find it relaxing. I suppose some prog maybe. Pink Floyd. Or just the sound of nature itself when I go hiking.

Thanks :)

I know what you mean, I'm pretty well the same way. Growing up Metallica was my music for just about everything but I've diversified a bit since. Ah, Mr Floyd, always a good choice. Do you have a preference for Syd's Floyd or later iterations? Do you have bears in Japan? I end up doing a good bit of hiking in bear country and one of the recommendations for that is to make lots of noise but that just feels sacrilegious.

Wow
I won’t go for monochrome pictures right now. The colored pictures are the best especially the second one. It is too cute!

Ha, that's a first I think :) If I remember correctly, I just pulled over to the side of the road and took the second one in Oregon. It was a gorgeous place, albeit slightly on fire.
