Weekend Engagement : A Time to Celebrate

One of life's inevitables is growth. Every person changes and grows. All of us will eventually die one day, but with the limited time we have left on earth, we should try to take advantage of every chance we are given to make great memories.

Our birthdays are one of the occasions we may use to enjoy ourselves. Well, I haven't been fair to myself when it comes to birthdays because I had frequently forgotten my own. When I turned thirty I made the decision to celebrate my birthdays.

Some people wouldn't consider celebrating birthdays or see some events as important, but trust me, every form of celebration help spice up life. My weekend was filled with delight as I attended the gorgeous birthday of a friend.

I believe that turning 50 is a beautiful accomplishment that should be honoured, and that it takes a lot of struggles in this life to get to that age. It definitely makes sense to me when someone decides to host friends and family for a lavish birthday celebration at some point in their lives.

It was Auntie Christy's day and she truly deserved to be delighted with all the beautiful things the moment brought to her. All of the invited guests had been anticipating her entrance into the big hall after the MC announced the reason for the gathering and this was the time when she danced magnificently with her family members and close friends who walked her to the stage.

She made several entries and each entry was marked with different attires lighting up the show and she became the centre of attention as everyone captures the movement with their cameras.

The buffet, the peanut cake, the birthday cakes, and the African drinks that were served at the party all tasted incredibly good, giving the impression that the celebrant spent some time planning the event to make it so memorable.

It was awesome, grand, and one of the most wonderful birthdays I've ever attended. Friends of mine also attended. Such lovely occasions usually demand for particular moments to be preserved, therefore we got many of pictures of everyone taking in the moment.

It is a blessing to be able to live without worry, and life is truly good when we have friends by our sides to share our joys and sorrows.I think the ideal moment to celebrate is now, while we still have the chance.

When people pay respect to the deceased but did not do so while they were alive, I find it absurd. Lucky are the recipients of the most prestigious and coveted honours in the entertainment industry—the Oscars and the Ballon d'Or, they were privileged to receive a standing ovations in recognition of their lifetime accomplishments.

In my opinion, it's preferable to meet people to celebrate an accomplishment once in a lifetime rather than wait till a special occasion arises; after all, what's life without enjoyment.
