The spiders there are very intimidating. Are they venomous?
Can't get over how beautiful it can be there. No wonder you love living there. Where are you originally from?

I never got bitten by any, but they're everywhere, and nobody warned me about them ever, so I guess not. I have the same variety on my roof and the garden. Nothing ever happened.
I originally lived in northern Germany. Also a beautiful landscape that I miss a lot, especially the lakes. But Ecuador is just a different beast. Drive 1h, and you're in a completely different climate and biosphere. It's just amazing.
They are intimidating spiders, but beautiful too. Guess if you leave them alone they will do the same.
That must be an amazing place to live. Or at least visit.
