Snowy Monochrome Monday
Hi fellow Hiveians,
Today I wanted to share a few more photos from the recent snow storm we had in the spring season!

Snowy Monochrome Monday
Snow.. it's great when it's that appropriate time of year! :D
I do really enjoy snow, for many reasons. I get to do things like go snow shoeing with my son when it snows. We get to shovel, which is great exercise when it snows. We also get to enjoy it just looking at it when it's coming down! It's really special to watch snow as it's coming down, it looks majestic for sure!
When the snow decides to show up when we aren't expecting it though.. like a month into the Spring season, then we aren't exactly welcoming for it :D
A few weeks ago at this point, we had a little snow squall! It was pretty heavy at times, and I was lucky enough to be doing an activity which required me to be out and about. I had to drop the little man off for something so I got a little bit of time to go exploring the snow squalled area. It was a real treat visually, that's for sure!
I think for sure one of my favorite things to do with the snow is to take photographs of it while it's happening, before it gets gross. Fresh snowfall is a beautiful thing because it is untouched, for the most part. You get to see all kinds of beauty in the environment with this stuff which is a lot of fun. I especially love turning these types of photos into black and white!
Black and white adds a considerable amount of beauty and drama to the snow. I think one of my favorite photos of the winter for sure is the photo below! I love taking pictures of running water through little creaks and stuff. There's all kinds of chaos going on in the photo, with lots of things happening all at once. I think these are my favorite types!
Combine that with the beauty of snow.. man that was pretty awesome! I don't think I have many, or even any, photos of this perspective for snow, so I am pretty stoked I got one.
The place I went for a little walk was beautiful because it was new to me, and it wasn't a pain in the butt to get to. There was a nice little parking area, and you got the chance to explore quite a large area. I think they said it was 60 acres? Something like that, but it was pretty damn big! I think I'm going to go back to this place for sure with the little man and show him what I found when I had to drop him off!

I am so glad we are done with the snow down here. It has been sunny lately, the flowers are starting to bloom, but the rain keeps coming weekly.
Yeah there's been a lot of rain here as well lol it's challenging sometimes but April Showers bring May Flowers :D

Come get MOONed!
The monochrome gave a different feel to the photos, a nice one.
Good thing you explored! It was totally worth it. Sometimes I go through my gallery and I feel good, hehe.
Yeah I love the way snow comes across with black and white!
Going through my albums is a great bit of nostalgia for sure. I do it every few weeks to find things to post or write about and it's a fun trip down memory lane! Glad you enjoy going through yours man!
A few days ago, a similar hailstorm hit a city in our country. It was very scary. People's solar panels were broken, people's cars were broken, so there was a lot of damage.
Oh no that's no good! Hopefully they can get things fixed soon!
It looks like someone has been chomping on these trees. Great hike!
Nom nom nom :D
The beavers are aggressive shits here hahahaha
It looks very artistic. :)
