RE: The End of Innocence

Yeah the innocence thing is so wonderful with the kids! My son doesn’t realize the bad in people like other kids and tries to play with them anyway and then learns some hard lessons sadly.

I would say that innocence should ideally be around until 10 or so at a minimum and start to shift and change around 13 or 14. I think it’s different for girls because they get their periods.

I think one of the biggest issues for boys is they don’t have a true transition like girls do. We used to have ceremonies like first hunt and things like that that would help but sadly there’s nothing like that I can think of in the world for boys besides having sex or having a kid by accident.
